Why Choose Lifepo4 Battery?
It is economical in the long run to buy this battery to replace a lead/acid battery. The benefits of LiFePO4 batteries over most other types, they offer about 4-6 times the service life. That in combination with the greater safely usable capacity of about 80%, as opposed to about 50% for lead/acid, makes them a more economical choice in the long run. Compared to lithium-ion, LiFePO4 batteries are much safer. They don't have the risk of runaway an extremely hot fire on the impact of Li-ion batteries. Another big advantage of LiFePO4 over lead/acid is the much more consistent power output they offer over the full range of their usable capacity. Lead/acid is drawn down to a barely usable voltage fairly quickly when under load. LiFePO4 is drawn down to, but the voltage remains quite close to 12v, resulting in fewer low voltage alerts in use.
